History and Development of Department The Faculty of Law of the University of Delhi was established in the year 1924. The then Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr. Hari Singh Gaur was its first Dean. It was housed in the Prince?s Pavilion in the Viceregal Lodge (turned Anthropology Department).
